Our business
Daydream Steeps is an independent retailer hosted on Shopify. Our current catalog includes products supplied by August Uncommon Tea. We are not August Uncommon Tea's official website, and we do not manufacture or repackage its products. Supplier-linked orders are shipped directly by the supplier. Daydream Steeps remains responsible for customer service and the retailer obligations applicable to your purchase.
Ordering and account information
Provide accurate contact, payment, and delivery information and use a payment method you are authorized to use. You must have legal capacity to make the purchase or appropriate permission where applicable. Protect your account credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized use. An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order. If we cannot fulfill it, we will explain the issue and refund any amounts due.
Prices, product information, and promotions
Review the product, selected size or format, quantity, currency, shipping charges, taxes, and final total before completing checkout. A loose leaf bag described by its estimated cup count is not the same as a pack of individual tea bags. Cup counts are manufacturer estimates and depend on preparation. Accessories and styling props are not included unless the listing expressly says they are.
Promotions apply only under their stated conditions. Prices may change for future orders; we will not retroactively increase the price of a completed order. If we discover a material pricing or description error affecting an order, we will contact you to agree on a correction or offer cancellation and a refund rather than impose an additional charge without your consent.
Ingredients and preparation
Read the product description and current package label for ingredients, allergen information, caffeine information, and brewing instructions. Contact us before purchasing if important information is unclear or inconsistent. Do not rely on a flavor name alone to determine ingredients or allergen suitability. Decaffeinated tea is not necessarily caffeine-free. These products are foods and beverages, not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.
Final sales, shipping, and order problems
We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges or issue change-of-mind refunds or cancellations. This applies to tea and teaware. It does not exclude legally required remedies for damaged, defective, incorrect, misdescribed, delayed, or undelivered goods or other mandatory consumer rights.
Delivery availability and charges depend on your cart and delivery address. See our Shipping Policy for dispatch, tracking, and delays and our Return and Refund Policy for problem orders and required remedies. Supplier stock, return approval, or reimbursement does not override your mandatory rights against Daydream Steeps.
Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled, including sharing order information with service providers and suppliers for fulfillment. Order-related communications are separate from optional marketing. Where marketing consent is required, it is requested separately. You may unsubscribe from marketing using the instructions in those messages.
Acceptable use and intellectual property
Do not use the store for fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorized access, or activity that disrupts its operation. Product names, photographs, logos, and other brand materials belong to their respective owners. Visiting the store does not transfer ownership or grant commercial reuse rights beyond applicable law or express permission.
Availability, changes, and responsibility
We work to keep store information accurate and the website available, but service interruptions or errors can occur. We do not exclude liability or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable product, warranty, and consumer-protection obligations. Changes to these terms apply prospectively and do not remove rights attached to an earlier purchase.
